FAQ

How long will it take you to build my bar?

Generally, we strive to keep our turnaround time about 2 weeks although if you have a special request or we have to order an item needed to complete your order it may take an additional 7-10 days just to get the material needed. It also depends on the season, if you order your bar in the spring or summer it may take up to 4 weeks where in the fall or summer we are likely to be done in less than 2 weeks. We thank you for your patience.

Can the dimensions of my bar be customized?

Absolutely, weight balance permitting we build our bars custom to order to fit your needs and wants.

Do I need to anchor down my Tiki Bar?

No, unless there is a tropical storm or extreme amounts of wind our bars are heavy and very well balanced when completed. If you have one of our portable Tiki Bars on wheels we advise moving it to a safer area (not out in the open) or under cover if possible.

How do the thatched roofs handle heavy rain and wind?

Just like the tropics, the roofs are designed to handle high winds and heavy rain. Extreme wind will actually just pass through the thatched roof.

How long will the thatched roof last?

Thatching is real dried palm leaves that won’t last forever. Typically after about 5 years you might have to re-thatch your roof. We offer re-thatching services for a reasonable price for our customers.  To preserve your thatching by repelling the water we recommend using a waterseal spray twice a year.

Should I store my Tiki Bar for the winter?

Our bars are built to be outside all year around. To preserve the thatched roof during temperatures below 32 degrees, we recommend putting a tarp over and around the roof with bungee cords connecting it to itself but only leaving it on for the duration of the low temperatures. Leaving the tarp on for extended amounts of time when it is warm/high humidity will cause your roof to rot and grow mold.
